Over the past couple weeks, several media outlets have reported that the former NBA star refuses throw in the towel on his marriage to Khloe Kardashian.

Although the reports were based off rumors, it appears all of the speculation may be true.

According to People, Odom will not sign any divorce papers. A source close to the estranged couple recently spoke with the publication about the daunting divorce ordeal.

Although he reportedly won’t sign the papers, he isn’t making the best effort to win his wife back.

“He needs to sign papers and he won’t,” the source said on Thursday, Oct. 23. “He disappears here and there, and she can’t find him. She just wants to move on.”

On Saturday, Oct. 25, the Keeping Up With the Kardashian star took to Twitter with a cryptic message that may be related to the problems she’s facing with her soon-to be ex-husband.

“Some things are really just that simple,” she tweeted.

She didn’t make any direct references with her tweet, but it could have possibility been directed toward Odom’s lack of cooperation with her request.

On several occasions, the former Khloe & Lamar reality star has expressed his desire to reconcile with his wife. Back in February, he told US Weekly even if their marriage didn’t survive the separation, she’d still be his wife.

“I love my wife. She’ll always be my wife, no matter what,” Odom said. “Who knows? We don’t know exactly if the divorce is going through. Only time will tell. I hope not. But even if we were divorced, she would always be my wife.”

Odom may be making a gratuitous effort to stall the divorce proceedings, but there’s still a possibility Khloe could be granted a default judgment. However, no further details have been released as of yet.
