Kristin Cavallari is understandably sad over the discovery of her brother's body on Thursday.

Kristin Cavallari's brother, Michael, had been missing since November 27th.

Just two days before his disappearance, Michael had been bailed out of jail after having turned himself in on charges of acting threateningly toward a woman.

He had an argument with said woman and when she spotted him pointing a shotgun at her home, she called police.

A loaded shotgun was found in his trunk after his arrival at the police station.

Just four days ago, Kristin Cavallari still held out hope that he would be found safe after his 2014 Honda was found abandoned against an embankment in Utah with the airbags deployed.

However, the body of Kristin Cavallari's brother was soon discovered by rescue crews in Utah.

The Grand County, Utah Sheriff's Office released a statement Thursday that said, "At approximately 10:30 a.m. search crews located remains believed to be that of Michael Cavallari."

It continued, "At this time, the body is being transported to the Office of the Utah Medical Examiner for positive identification and to determine the cause of death. The search crews were searching the Salt Wash area, near exit 175 on I-70 in Grand County. The terrain where the body was located is a steep and very rocky area."

What exactly happened is still unclear, but for Kristin Cavallari it's an extremely sad time.

Kristin Cavallari released a statement on Thursday that read, "We have just been informed by the authorities my brother's body has been found. This is a very painful time and we are still processing it all. We kindly ask everyone please respect our privacy during our time of grieving."

Our hearts go out to Kristin Cavallari in this terrible time of sadness. What do you think about Michael Cavallari's mysterious disappearance and death?
