Last spring, Kristen Bell solved one more mystery as Veronica Mars. It's been 10 years since the character first made her television appearance. So how did the show's leading lady celebrate this monumental occasion? Marshmallows, you may be disappointed.
Veronica Mars' pilot episode originally aired on UPN on September 22, 2004. The show followed Bell as a teenage private investigator who solved weekly mysteries, and one major case every season. The show lasted for three seasons (2004-2006).
In 2013, Bell and Veronica Mars' creator Rob Thomas launched a very successful Kickstarter campaign, which brought the series to the big screen. Fans donated over 5 million dollars to bring Bell and her co-stars back together again in the Veronica Mars movie. The movie was well-received by fans and critics alike. It also did a Hollywood first by being released on demand and in theaters on the same day.
People magazine spoke to Bell to find out how she celebrated the 10-year anniversary. Bell revealed that she didn't really do anything to mark the major occasion. As Bell stated, she just celebrated "with a smile and some nostalgia."

While talking to People, she did remind fans to watch the new Veronica Mars spin-off web series. Ryan Hansen, who played Dick Casablancas on the series, stars in the CW web-show, Play It Again, Dick. In the series, many of the Veronica Mars alumni return to play versions of themselves. Bell along with her on-screen love interest, Jason Dohring (Logan Echolls), join Hansen on the first episode of the series.
"I’m currently very excited for everybody to see the upcoming episodes of Play It Again, Dick, because I think it might be, dare I say, my favorite incarnation yet. I think Ryan Hansen should have been playing Veronica Mars all along," said Bell.
Episodes of Play It Again, Dick are released every Tuesday on the CWSeed site.
