Despite the joy some men now receive from looking at them, Kim Kardashian's large breasts used to make her cry every night.
"[I] was unhappy with my body," she told ELLE UK, adding that when she was a teenager she would pray that her "boobs would stop growing."
But never fear. Her father, Robert Kardashian, Sr. was there to comfort the 13-year-old via written letter.
"He told me I had a body not many girls have and that later it would lead to attention from men," she said but added that he also reminded her that she was "a wonderful girl" who had to "understand [her] self-worth."
Over time Kim gained a more confident self-image and began to embrace her body shape.
"I am a confident woman, but I didn't just arrive confident," she admits. "It has built over the years and that is a big part of who I am now."
Her confidence is the primary reason the 34-year-old didn't get shook up when nude photos of her were leaked earlier this year.
"I felt violated because these are private pictures. But, I'm also realistic, I'm on covers of magazines practically naked, so I can't go crazy about it."
In November, Kim's oiled-up bare butt also appeared on the cover of Paper Magazine in order to "break the internet." Whether it achieved that goal or not, the mostly-naked photo sure made headlines.
Now Kanye West's wife, mother of daughter North West, says that she wants to add to her legacy with more children.
"I want a boy and another girl; I want it to start happening right away," she said. "I loved being part of a huge family—and I want that for North. We'd do IVF if nothing happens, but we both want to keep trying naturally."
