  • Kim Kardashian had to cancel her trip to India.

According to E! News, the Keeping up with the Kardashians star, had to axe her trip to India due to “visa issues.”

“Kim had to go to Dubai from India, but as per visa rules she had to appear at the consulate office in Mumbai as she was coming from a foreign country and heading to another foreign country,” a source told the Hindustan Times of the reality star who is currently in Australia promoting her new fragrance Fleur Fatale.

“Unfortunately, her schedule is too tight and she would have been left with no time if she had squeezed in a visit to the consulate. She had to therefore cancel her India trip as she had a lot of commitments in Dubai,” the source added.

Kim was supposed to travel to India to appear on their version of America’s reality show Big Brother called Bigg Boss.

Kardashian had originally released a statement in Hindi announcing her appearance that read: “Hello India… I, Kim Kardashian, am coming to India… in Bigg Boss’s house.”

Unfortunately, she had to issue another statement explaining that she would not be able to follow through with her obligations. “To all my wonderful fans in India, I’m so disappointed I wasn’t able to come to India as planned,” Kim said. “When the opportunity presented itself to make the trip, there was a short window to coordinate all of the elements necessary to make it happen. Unfortunately, time ran out so the trip has been canceled. I look forward to rescheduling and meeting everyone soon.”
