Kim Fields was best known for her role as Tootie Ramsey on the 1980s NBC hit show The Facts of Life. In the wake of NeNe Leakes' departure, Kim Fields has signed on to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for its eighth season.

In a new trailer promoting the upcoming season, Fields appears alongside the rest of the RHOA cast members--Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burress, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks, Sheree Whitfield, and Porsha Williams. Sheree Whitfield is making her return to the show. Shamea Morton is another newbie, like Fields.

The new season is filled with the highly anticipated drama fans have come to expect--and to love. Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are expecting their first baby. Kenya Moore is on the prowl for love while working on building her "Moore Manor." These are only a couple of the story lines that fans will watch religiously.

"This is Hollywood royalty right here girl," Kenya Moore says to Kim Fields in the promo clip. "Everybody knows Tootie."

How do you expect Kim Fields will fit in with the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta? It's certainly a far cry from Mrs. Garrett and the group of boarding school girls she starred alongside on The Facts of Life. Even Blair Warner--payed by actress Lisa Welchel--is harmless compared to some of these wild women.

The new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta premieres on Sunday, November 8th at 8:00 p.m.

Will you tune in to check out Kim Fields and see how she fares?
