Kim Cattrall Shares Secret To Her Bangin’ Bod

Kim Cattrall has never been a shy one when it comes to showing off her body, and at 56-years old, she’s just as hot as she ever was. But Cattrall says she’s changed the way she works out, and her new passion, Physiyoga, has saved her life.

“As I get older, I find that cardio is less important to me,” she said. “What I want to do more of is intense stretching.”

Physiyoga is a mixture of massage, meditative breathing, physio adjustments and yoga poses, and Cattrall says she scoped out a London-based teacher before she agreed to star in a grueling 3-month long production of the Tennessee Williams play Sweet Birth Of Youth. The actress says the new workout routine has helped her retain her energy as opposed to her old, cardio-heavy sessions.

“I’d do massive sessions of heavy cardio before each series started and then no exercise at all during filming (“Sex And The City”),” she says. “I’d just collapse at the weekends.”

Cattrall’s instructor, Diana Zotos, says the workout doesn’t just do a body good in the moment; it’s a routine to help reach long-term effects.

“She respects her body… She uses her body in her day-to-day life to perform. What physiyoga has done for her is what it’s done for everyone — it’s helped her realize how to constantly make adjustments in the way she moves and uses her body, to protect it,” she says.
