Khloe Kardashian is the latest of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians family members to throw a little love Rob Kardashian’s way. The male Kardashian who can’t use booty shots or sexy videos to promote his image or self worth, has been down about his weight, and on the fence about his standing within the family ever since sister Kim Kardashian’s wedding this past spring. He left Florence, Italy, and headed back to the U.S. without watching his sister marry Kanye West.

Khloe threw her love out to Rob via an Instagram post of a throwback photo. She captioned the shot, “I’ll never let you carry more than you can hold my sweet brother. Almost home kiddo!” Khloe Kardashian and Rob Kardashian appear to be sitting courtside at a basketball game. They often watched Khloe’s ex-husband Lamar Odom play for the L.A. Clippers.

Rob Kardashian might be missing sister Khloe, who has spent most of the summer in the Hamptons filming Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons, along with sister Kourtney Kardashian. Still she has stayed in touch with Rob, and even came to his defense about a month back when ex-girlfriend Adrienne Bailon labeled Rob a cheater in a recent issue of Latina magazine. Khloe retweeted Kim Kardashian’s message about the ordeal.

Adrienne seemingly can’t let sleeping dogs lie, so she is still talking about her relationship with Rob–and his subsequent cheating–via the press, and that’s clearly not helping Rob’s funk whatsoever. Rob is rumored to have a drug problem and his family’s encouragement may lead him to seek help for it–or for whatever additional issues the Keeping Up With the Kardashians brother may be experiencing.

It seems maybe blood does run thicker than water–at least in the Kardashian family. All it takes is for someone to pick on one of their siblings and those girls bring out both their compassion and their anger.

It all serves to comfort Rob Kardashian, however, who really doesn’t seem to know what he ought to be doing at the moment. Khloe Kardashian clearly senses this and is doing what she can to let him know he’s loved.
