Kendra Wilkinson started the rumor mill when she seemed to say that she was now single in an interview with Dish Nation. As she arrived in Australia for her appearance on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! on Tuesday, she was asked about her very public and very troubled marriage.
“That is what I am trying to escape from. I am going to have some thinking time in the jungle,” Wilkinson said of her husband and their relationship at Brisbane Airport.
“It’s going to be good to be away from all that… I’m single for the time being.”
Yeah, it sounds like Kendra Wilkinson just said she’s single.
However, her rep says not so fast.
“These quotes are out of context,” her rep said to E!. “She said she was single ‘for the time being here’ in Australia—physically apart from her husband and kids. Kendra and Hank Baskett continue to work on their marriage. Nothing has changed.”
Ok, well that makes sense.
Also, another source confided to E! News, “Kendra and Hank are still together. I think there were a lot of liberties taken with the interview saying she’s still single. They’re just trying to drum up press for the show. She and Hank have not split.”
Kendra Wilkinson has been trying to salvage what’s left of her marriage to Hank Baskett after Hank was caught cheating on her with a transexual model, but it’s been a long road.
While yet another source said that the couple is pretty much destined to split because Kendra Wilkinson is “over the lies and manipulation”, Kendra herself has seemed a little more positive in recent times.
She said just last month of their predicament, “I found myself in a position where it came down to literally a signature for the divorce to go through and something held me back. Something a bit more powerful pulled me away from doing that and the power I believe is my heart.”
