Kendall Jenner is part of a very famous family. The young model is coming into her own now with contracts and ad campaigns coming out of the woodwork.
But Kendall Jenner is also just 19 years old. No matter how you grow up, being 19 has to be a scary time sometimes.
In a recent comment to the Wall Street Journal, Kendall Jenner revealed that she think she may have had a problem that not all 19 year old girls have.
“I feel like I grew up too fast a long time ago. Having older siblings, you grow up around adults, so you mature more quickly. I saw my sisters and parents working every day, so I was pretty much brought up to be a workaholic."
Kendall Jenner revealed that being famous has not meant that she gets pass on the worries of teenagers. In fact, there are times things might be tougher. But she gets good advice.
"But I just turned 19 a couple weeks ago, and I’m scared to be 20—it’s the first step out of being a teenager. My sister Khloé always says to me and my younger sister, Kylie: You have your whole life to be an adult but only so long to be a kid. And we get it. In the right situations, I try to be as immature as I can sometimes—react to things as if I were 12."
Well, that might explain some of the tabloid stories out there about the Kardashian/Jenner clan.
"You can’t take things too seriously. I just laugh thinking about my dad being a teenager, partying. It’s the funniest thing. And it makes me think—what am I going to be like when I’m 65?”
Kendall Jenner's dad partying? Bruce Jenner is still in the thick of things out there, even though he has divorced Kendall's mom Kris Jenner. He continues to be the target of rumors that he wants to have gender reassignment surgery, despite loads of claims to the contrary.
