  • Kendall Jenner defied her big sister, Kim Kardashian West, several days ago when she and Hailey Baldwin visited a tattoo shop in New York City. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and fashion model got her first tattoo.

Kim Kardashian warned Kendall Jenner against getting a tattoo quite some time ago.

During a interview with Allure magazine a few months ago, Kendall seemed skeptical about getting inked.

“I have a really weird thing about “forever,” she said. “And my sister Kim always said, “Don’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley.”

Fortunately for Kendall Jenner, her ‘bumper sticker’ is relatively discreet. It is nothing but a tiny white dot on her middle finger–discreet enough that it could be covered with makeup for any fashion shoots she takes part in with photographers who might not welcome a tattoo.

It was actually a group from Kendall Jenner’s church–Hillsong Church–who went together to get their tattoos. Kendall and pals Joe Termini and singer Harry Hudson got the same tat as Kendall, while Hailey Baldwin got a letter ‘G’ tattooed as a tribute to her pastor’s little girl, Georgia. The two-year-old has brain cancer.

Now even Kim Kardashian has to have some respect for the tattoos Kendall and her friends got during their visit to the tattoo parlor. They are a far cry from large, often controversial, tattoos that are very popular with people Kendall Jenner’s age these days.

What do you suppose Kendall’s mom Kris Jenner’s thoughts are on her daughter’s new ink?

What’s your take on Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin’s tattoos? Tasteful? Discreet? Or do you prefer no ink whatsoever?
