Kelly Clarkson went to bat on Friday for Kesha Rose Sebert--better known as Kesha--after a judge deemed she must remain under contract with Dr. Luke (Lukasz Gottwald), the man who allegedly sexually abused her.
Although the tweet borders on cryptic, it seems obvious Kelly Clarkson is on Kesha's side.
Trying 2 not say anything since I can't say anything nice about a person... so this is me not talking about Dr. Luke https://t.co/lLhtUHbmgG

Does it sound like Kelly Clarkson fears Dr. Luke? Is that why she was so careful in the wording of her message to Kesha? Or is she instead falling back on an old adage--and a good one at that? If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
Kelly Clarkson and Kesha Rose Sebert are miles apart from one another in the music world. They don't even sing or record within the same genre. Yet there appears to be a solidarity among women in the music business--especially when one desperately needs support from the others.

In addition to Kelly Clarkson, Kesha received a wealth of tweets from other women--and men, too--in the music world.

Celebs from outside of the music realm joined Kelly Clarkson in their support of Kesha, too.

It's practically unthinkable that Kesha Rose Sebert must continue to work with this man who allegedly sexually abused her. Kudos to Kelly Clarkson and all the others who are lending their support to the singer. Hopefully even more will jump on that bandwagon of support in the coming days, letting Kesha know she's not in this alone.
