  • Katy Perry grabbed headlines twice on April 1. One was when she accidentally shared her personal phone number with millions of people.

Katy Perry posted a picture of her dog Butters. The pic was innocent enough, but Butters’ tag was in clear view and showed Katy Perry’s personal phone number on it.

Fans alerted Katy Perry to the oversight and she deleted the photo and changed her phone number right away. She is still getting press over that little faux pas.

But it was the second little stunt that really delivered.

Katy Perry posted a picture of herself with a short pixie haircut. The caption to the Instagram photo read:

“I asked for the Kris Jenner.”

Her mention of the well-known hairstyle of KUWTK matriarch Kris Jenner told fans everything. Katy Perry appeared to have cut off her signature long locks.

I asked for the Kris Jenner

She also linked to the pic from her Twitter account, commenting simply “chop, chop”.

Since the photo was posted, articles galore have popped up about the “stunt.” But no one has confirmed whether or not it really happened. And this is the masterful part. All Katy Perry has to do is stay out of sight for a few days and people will fall all over themselves trying to figure out if she has gut off her hair.

Not that Katy Perry needs more press. But if you’re going to be friends with and reference the most famous momager ever, you might as well learn some of her tricks. And if there is one thing Kris Jenner could teach Katy Perry it is how to keep people hanging on her every move.
