  • Katie Holmes was rumored to have been dating Jamie Foxx, and now Foxx is saying those rumors have hurt his real relationship with his actual girlfriend.

In an interview with Dish Nation Monday, Jamie Foxx said that rumors that fist linked the actors in 2013, as well as re-ignited rumors in March while they collaborated on an animated series, had a detrimental affect on his relationship with his girlfriend.

“No, we’re not dating,” Jamie Foxx reiterated once again and rumors that he is dating Katie Holmes. “I’m not the person who wants to be defined by anybody I date. So, even if I was dating someone, no one would know anyway. But it affects my situation because I got a girl who’s like, ‘Yo, who’s this [expletive]?'”

Jamie Foxx said he not only had to defend himself with the media over the Katie Holmes rumors, he had to deal with it at home.

“The second time [the rumors] happened … we get together to do an animation thing and then somebody flips a picture to make it seem like we’re holding hands. I said, ‘If it was a real relationship, why didn’t they just get that? Why didn’t they get us kissing?'”

While Jamie Foxx denies dating rumors, he’s not in the least timid about admitting that she is a good pal of his.

“She’s a good friend of mine… Katie Holmes and I had seen each other in the Hamptons, we did this charity thing and she comes on stage and dances with me, along with other people, and for some reason this story takes off…,” he said.
