Kate Hudson has been in the public eye most of her life, even before she got her start as an actress.
Kate's mother is the famous Goldie Hawn, and by being the daughter of a well-known celebrity, Kate has had her fair share of scrutiny from the media and photographers over her looks.
"I've loved [fashion] since I was a little girl. My mom says that when I was small, I would put together outfits that made her go, 'OK, I don't know what you are doing, I don't know what you are wearing, but I'll go with it,'" Hudson said. "I've grown tamer since I've grown older and I've also come to realize that looking good has to come from the inside out because there's no outfit in the world that can make you feel confident if you aren't. But then, there's always that one that might put just a little more spring to your step."
By receiving so much criticism, Hudson has learned that what is important about a person is what is on the inside, and that people should stop being so judgmental.
“The negativity is just so vast. Will everybody stop being so damned judgmental?” Hudson told InStyle magazine for the July 2014 issue. “If someone wants to go get butt implants, then sure, go get butt implants. The real question is, How do they treat the person next to them? Are they a—holes or are they awesome?”
Kate feels like people should do whatever makes them happy, and if having butt implants or Botox makes them happy, then they should do it. She said she hasn't ruled it out for herself in the future.
"Why not? Right now, it's not something I feel I need but I think it's great that it's available," Hudson said. "The other day, my girlfriend called me and said, 'I'm going to get a little Boty.' So I think there's nothing wrong with a little Boty call if you feel you want it."
