  • Kate Gosselin, who once denied son Collin–one of her and Jon Gosselin’s sextuplets–was having problems, has finally opened up and admitted that the boy does in fact have some challenges.

It was back in 2010 when a report surfaced about Collin Gosselin being expelled from school–a report Kate Gosselin adamantly denied.

During Tuesday night’s Kate Plus 8 special, which aired on TLC, the mom of eight–Jon and Kate Gosselin also have a set if twins–admitted that yes, son Collin has some issues, and that an upcoming change of schools may be in the cards.

“This is a work in progress for him that we’ve sought many specialists help on,” she said. “There are changes coming for him. I think it will result in a change of school for him for this upcoming year and beyond that, we’ll see.”

The Tuesday night special marked the 11th birthday of Jon and Kate Gosselin’s sextuplets. Alexis, Leah, Hannah, Joel, Aaden, and Collin Gosselin are now 11 years old. The week before, a Kate Plus 8 special showed Kate Gosselin turning 40 while on vacation in Mexico.

It will be interesting to see what means Kate Gosselin chooses to employ in working on Collin’s challenges.

Do you suppose growing up on reality TV has lent itself to the boy’s issues?

Jon Gosselin has long been after Kate to keep the kids off TV. It was part of the reason his marriage to Kate Gosselin failed.
