Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift grace the cover of the March issue of Vogue, and within its pages are a range of sultry shots portraying the many facets of female friendships. The two ladies are seen “cuddling in the sunlight, baking cookies and strumming on a guitar,” as well as indulging in selfies while riding in a convertible.

“People had been telling us for years that we needed to meet,” Swift tells Vogue of Karlie Kloss. “I remember makeup artists and hair people going, ‘God, she and Karlie would be best friends.”

After model Lily Aldrich introduced the two, Taylor Swift says their fast friendship was immediate.

“We were just like, ‘You. My friend. Now,’” Swift says.

People will be hard pressed not to wonder if Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift are related when they see the Vogue photos. Their fair hair and skin–along with their slender figures–are remarkably similar.

Karlie Kloss was also spotted on February 11th at the amfAR New York Gala. She was once again beyond sexy–this time in a black gown that bared one shoulder and featured a thigh-high slit.
