Justin Bieber has released his first music video in more than a year. It was January 2014 when the Biebs released 'Confident,' so this new song, 'Where Are U Now,' will no doubt be a huge treat for Beliebers.

With the help of Skrillex and Diplo, Justin Bieber exudes a lot of emotion in 'Where Are U Now.' The music video has an artistic slant to it as well, with Justin Bieber covered in a wealth of doodles and drawings throughout its duration. He also dances on blank canvases in an art gallery as artwork appears all around him.

At one point in the video--probably the most powerful of them all--Justin Bieber's face is covered with paint that begins dripping downward. Sources believe the song is about his longtime girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Check out 'Where Are U Now' for yourself, and see if you think the Biebs is referencing Selena Gomez as he croons.

Justin Bieber admitted during an interview with Ryan Seacrest in April that much of his inspiration comes from Selena Gomez.

“"t was a long relationship that created heartbreak and created happiness and a lot of different emotions that I wanted to write about. There’s a lot of that on this album," he said at the time.

Justin Bieber has laid rather low in recent months in his attempt to rebuild his tarnished relationship. Knowing he has no one to blame for his poor choices but himself, he is hoping fans--and the media--might give him a second chance.

What's your take on Justin Bieber's new music video?

Is there any chance it's powerful enough to move Selena Gomez--back in Justin Bieber's direction?
