  • Justin Bieber’s fall from grace has been a long and hard one.

After getting in trouble with the law numerous time over the last few months, a recent video clip has emerged that shows him making a racist joke.

The video is at least five years old, but the person in the video is clearly Bieber.

In the video a young and at the time more innocent Justin Bieber appears to be relaxing with friends and playing on his phone.

After a few seconds of talking and smiling he tells the joke.

The video ends with Bieber and his friends laughing.

After the video Bieber received a lot of criticism for the joke and he issued an apology saying,

“I’m very sorry. I take all my friendships with people of all cultures very seriously and I apologize for offending or hurting anyone with my childish and inexcusable behavior. I thought it was ok to repeat hurtful words and jokes, but I didn’t realize at the time that it wasn’t funny and that in fact my actions were continuing the ignorance. Thanks to friends and family I learned from my mistakes and grew up and apologized for those wrongs. Now that these mistakes from the past have become public I need to apologize again to all of those who I have offended. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to say but telling the truth is always what’s right.

He ends the statement by saying “Once again … I’m sorry.”

In spite of the apology and the fact that the video was recorded several years ago, many of Bieber’s fans are having a hard time forgiving him. Others have jumped to his defense on Twitter and other social networks, including his former bodyguard.

It seems like things just continue to spiral out of control for Bieber.

Do you think he will ever get his life back on track?
