  • It appears that Julianne Hough has a new man in her life and that man is hockey player Brooks Laich of the Washington Capitals. Rumors that the two may be a couple have been spreading for a while but after photos surfaced of them holding hands while taking a hike, these rumors were confirmed.

Sources close to the couple say that they were set up by a mutual friend and that they seemed to hit it off with their mutual interests in sports. “They’re having fun. She’s happier than ever,” said the source.

Hough and Laich have not been shy about their relationship and are often seen together in public. Over the weekend they were spotted at Disneyland in Anaheim, California where they held hands while walking around the park and even shared a romantic kiss.

The next day, the couple was seen holding hands while taking a hike with Hough’s two dogs. After their hike, the couple must have felt hungry because they were spotted together at Bristol Farms buying groceries.

Laich appeared to enjoy spending Valentine’s Day with his new girl and tweeted a message wishing happiness to others. His tweet seemed to confirm that he was indeed having a Happy Valentine’s Day himself.

Hough broke up with Ryan Seacrest in 2013 and hasn’t had any serious relationships since. She recently revealed a new pixie haircut that looks great with her soft features and seems to fit her bubbly personality well. Perhaps her new look is what inspired her to take a chance on love again and start dating Laich.

What do you think of this couple and how do you like Julianne Hough’s new pixie haircut?
