  • Sometimes those who are responsible for sending people to jail get jailed themselves, which is exactly what happened to Joe Brown, the famous television judge who had his own court show for 15 years.

According to TMZ, Brown was representing someone in a child support case in Memphis, and when he arrived in court, he was told the case wasn’t on the books, meaning the judge, the court and the court officers had no idea a child support hearing was supposed to take place that day.

And that’s when Brown lost it.

Based on reports, he began yelling and swearing at court officials and he even had a few harsh words for the judge. After numerous warnings to calm down and plenty of threats to hold Brown in contempt of court, the judge gave Brown two days in jail, which eventually turned into three days after the cursing and yelling continued.

If you remember, back in 2013 Brown was seen in a video completely inebriated, flirting with women, and speaking badly about the television show that made him a household name.

“I do not do that bulls–t anymore,” he said, since the last season of Judge Joe Brown was in the 2012-2013 television season.

Now why the child support case was never on court records remains to be seen, and why Brown flew off the handle in the manner in which he did is another question entirely, but either way, it seems the 66 year old is losing himself, because this is the second embarrassing incident he’s had in less than a year, which isn’t good at all.

Back in March of 2013, CBS Television Distribution said it appreciated all the hard work Brown has done over the years, and it was sad to see him go.

“We would like to thank Joe for 15 great years,” said the company. “As well as executive producer John Terenzio and the entire staff for all their hard work and dedication to the show.”
