Josh Charles, 41, the actor most notably known for his character Will Gardner on the CBS drama, The Good Wife, wed his girlfriend of several years, Sophie Flack, in Manhattan on Friday, September 6.
Charles and Flack first appeared in public together at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards in 2011; they were also spotted together attending Alec Baldwin’s June 2012 wedding to Hilaria Thomas.
Charles and his bride were wed in a small ceremony at a private residence in the city, followed by a dinner at Manhattan’s opulent Italian eatery, II Cantinori.
Charles, a Baltimore native, has been known for his work most recently on The Good Wife; however, his impressive resume begins with several roles in 80’s and 90’s cult classics such as Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead and Dead Poets Society.
Flack, 30, is most well-known for her book, Bunheads, a memoir-type novel she penned from personal experience working as a professional ballet dancer; Flack joined the New York City Ballet in October 2000 as an apprentice, and in 2001 joined the corps de ballet, where she danced until her departure from the profession in 2009.
Charles is currently stationed in New York City, shooting the 5th season of The Good Wife; you can catch the Season 5 premiere on Sunday, September 29 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
