John McAfee, as you may know, has been blogging a lot since evading authorities in Belize who want to bring him in for questioning in relation to the murder of his neighbor. Even once detained in Guatemala, he was still blogging (and even putting out YouTube videos) from jail.

Recently, there have been some posts made by a mysterious Harold M. That includes the ones earlier that said:

A Guatemalan judge has just ruled that Mr. McAfee was detained illegally. He will be released from detention at the central imigration centerin Guatemala City tomorrow morning. It is believed he will be allowed to return to the United States.

Good News.

John will be released from detention at 9:00 A.M., Guatemala Time, from the Immigration detention center in Guatemals City. He has not divulged his plans.

Now, McAfee has put out a new post saying that he is actually Harold M. He’s been using a “friend’s” name to confuse Belize officials.

“Belize officials were reading my blog constantly so I could not post under my own name,” he writes. “Hence, my friend Harold let me use his name. Apparently it worked. A couple of times I logged in as myself for a while just to confuse an already confused beaurocracy in Belize. I would like to thank Harold for lending me his name by the way.”

He also says that the Guatemalans have been as nice to him as his own family.
