  • Jill Duggar has been teasing her fans for several days now with updates about contractions, but on Tuesday she finally shared the first photos of her baby boy after giving birth on Monday.

The 19 Kids And Counting star and her husband, Derick, have been sharing updates on her condition online, with Jill announcing on Friday that she was having Braxton-Hicks contractions–otherwise known as false labor–and was going to utilize a well-known trick to try and coax the baby out.

“Out to lunch…maybe this spicy Mexican food will make the baby come! Only Braxton Hicks contractions with this weather so far. We shall see what the weekend brings!” she wrote on Instagram.

Fans were hoping the baby would make an appearance on Easter Sunday, but he missed the mark by several hours. Mom and Dad are thrilled with baby Israel, though, and say he is happy and healthy.

He's a beautiful baby boy! Israel David Dillard, born last night at 11:49pm!
