Jill Conley, a breast cancer sufferer who began a non-profit in her final years to help other breast cancer patients and their families, died Tuesday morning.

Jill Conley died quietly with her husband and mother at her side.

Becoming a household name after her appearance on Today with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, who is a cancer survivor, Jill Conley was fondly remembered by the two hosts after her death.

After news of Jill Conley's death spread, Hoda Kotb posted a sweet tribute to her on Twitter.

Hota Kotb was so inspired by Jill Conley that she chose to highlight her during their #InspiredBy series back in 2013.

After the segment starring Jill Conley, Hoda told about meeting her at a breast cancer benefit event.

She said, "You know she's ill, and you know her time is limited, but somehow you want nothing more than to be like her."

She added, "It's so funny. When I look at Jill, all I see is the light from her eyes. And I wanted to be in her aura, in her circle."

Kathie Lee Gifford added her own spin, saying, "She's totally alive. And how many of us who go through our days, every day, could say the same?"

Good question.

Jill Conley's foundation, Jill's Wish, also posted tribute to their founder.

What do you think of Jill Conley's brave life lived to the fullest, even with cancer?
