  • Jessica Simpson’s wedding is fast approaching and like most bride-to-be’s, she was ready to party one last time before tying the knot.

While some single ladies prefer to go out and get wild with their closest friends, Jessica chose a more laidback bachelorette party and didn’t even want to leave her fiancé for the occasion.

Both Jessica and her fiancé Eric Johnson had joint bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Instead of going their separate ways with their own groups of friends, they invited everyone out for some good food and dancing.

A friend close to the couple said,

“It wasn’t about being naughty. They just wanted a great night out with their friends and family.”

“They didn’t want a traditional bachelor-bachelorette where they go off and do their own thing, because our group of friends is so close we just wanted to all be together,” added Jessica’s best friend and bridesmaid Stephanie Terblanche.

“This is what we would do anyway. We would all go out, and I think that this speaks for the group. If we are not going to be at someone’s house hanging out playing beer pong, this is the closest thing to it,” Stephanie continued.

Jessica and Eric have been together for four years and have two children together, Maxwell, two, and 11-month-old Ace. Jessica has been planning their wedding for months and although the couple chose not to have wild parties and strippers, everyone enjoyed themselves.

The group met up at The Warwick in Los Angeles. In addition to Jessica’s friends, Eric’s former team members also celebrated with the couple.

Jessica, who has struggled with weight gain off and on for years, showed off her newly thin and fit body in a sexy black dress with a plunging neckline. She will soon be trading that black dress in for a white one when she walks down the aisle at her wedding.
