Jessica Simpson is Slimming Down
Jessica Simpson first became conscious about her weight after gaining 70 pounds during her first pregnancy. She was constantly featured in the media for her weight gain, which gave Simpson the motivation to do something about it.
Throughout both of her pregnancies, and after she had given birth, Simpson received harsh criticism due to her increasing weight. Shortly after giving birth to her daughter Maxwell, Simpson signed on to be a Weight Watchers spokeswoman, and even lost 40 pounds. However, she soon found out that she was expecting again, and had to put her diet on hold.
It was recently reported that Simpson was going to be returning to Weight Watchers, and was hoping to shed the weight once again.
“We were thrilled to welcome Jessica back on the Weight Watchers program in August,” Weight Watchers said in September. “With a toddler on the run and an infant to look after, we know she needs a plan that’s simple and fits into her life along with the support that’s so important to moms with young children.”

“My pregnancies (especially my first with Maxwell) were well documented and my struggles with my weight and body image have played out in front of the world<" Simpson wrote in her guest blog on Parents.com. “As hard as that has been, the hardest part is to realize that with all the hurtful and harsh criticism from others, I have been the hardest on myself.”

Now, the singer and actress is looking better than ever! She has lost the baby weight and is once again sticking to her Weight Watchers diet. She is determined to keep the weight off, and is flaunting her new figure on her Twitter profile. She posted a stunning picture of herself on the set of the new Weight Watchers campaign. She has definitely got her confidence back, and looks like she is ready to take on the world!
