  • A few weeks ago, Jessica Simpson claimed to have completed a successful Weight Watchers program. Ever since then, the internet has not stopped gushing over her success.

X17 posted pictures they took of Simpson in her daisy dukes as she left a restaurant in Calabasas. As they put it: “Those calves could do some damage!”

Marco Borges, a nutritionist, estimated for E! News that she lost up to 70 pounds, adding: “I’ve always recommended women give themselves six months to get back to their pre-pregnancy weight.”

In the 2005 movie, The Dukes of Hazzard, Simpson played Daisy Dukes, the character who named the eponymous shorts. “Any character that has a pair of shorts named after her, you’ve gotta at least try to make the shorts look as good as you possibly can,” she told People Magazine in 2005, “I watched my diet and was in the gym to walk proud.” It appears she once again repeated her success. “For breakfast I am an oatmeal girl. Lunch, I do like bread so I will have a sandwich or something. But for dinner I try (to) keep it super clean,” She told ABC news in February, “I want to sing again. I want my daughter to see me on stage. My fiancĂ© has never even watched me perform. Which is crazy. And – but that is my passion, that is my love, like, that is everything that I am.”

Pictures of Simpson wearing the daisy dukes have turned up all over twitter:

Meanwhile, the daisy dukes are nowhere to be seen on Simpson’s Instagram. Instead, she has posted pictures of her outings:
