Saturday night was momentous for pop singer and film actor Justin Timberlake as he was formally inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame.

Looking sharp in a black and nave houndstooth jacket, the former ‘N Sync member was introduced by close friend and Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon during the ceremony, which was held at Tennessee’s Cannon Center. Timberlake and Fallon have collaborated numerous times on various viral projects including their famous “History of Rap” series.
Timberlake kicked off his heartfelt speech by acknowledging his fellow Hall of Fame members and thanking them for the inspiration that they have given him and his music.
“I wanna thank all the great artists in this hall,” he said with tears welling in his eyes. “I’m truly honored to merely stand on the shoulders of all these legends I grew up listening to, and I grew up admiring, to say that I stand alongside them now.” “This is the f---ing coolest thing that has ever happened to me,” said Timberlake following his introduction from Fallon.
However, the more memorable part of his speech was when he dedicated his honor to his wife, actress Jessica Biel. The 34-year-old pop star called Biel his “rock” and thanked her for being “beautiful, loving, and incredibly understanding” of his shortcomings.
"Baby, I love you more than I could put into words and more than any song I could ever write," he said to Biel.
Aside from Biel, Timberlake also thanked his family for their “many, many sacrifices” in order for him to find success.
Biel and Timberlake had been dating on and off for almost five years before he popped the question and got married in October of 2012. They currently have a six-month-old baby boy named Silas Randall.
