Jessa Duggar gave birth to a baby boy almost a week ago, but the child still has no name. Is there some reason Duggar and hubby Ben Seewald haven't decided what to call their son?

In a recent interview with People magazine, the former 19 Kids and Counting star says it's a big decision naming a child, and it isn't coming easy to her.

"We want to give him a strong name, with a lot of meaning," Jessa Duggar explains.

She adds that she likes names "of heroes from the Christian faith," and also that she won't follow a "letter theme" like parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, whose 19 children all have names beginning with the letter "J."

Ben Seewald also admits it's not easy choosing a name.

"He is going to have this name for the rest of his life," the new father says.

"It's been really cool to meet him, look at his face and match a name to who he is," Jessa Duggar says. "It is going to be very special. A lot of thought has gone into it."

Jessa Duggar had a long labor and difficult delivery with Baby Seewald. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance following the home birth because of excessive bleeding.

While one might expect Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald would have planned on a baby's name ahead of time, clearly they opted to do things differently.

How long did you wait before naming any or all of your children? Did any of them go a week or more with no name?
