Jessa Duggar Seewald and her family have been under a microscope in recent months after news broke of eldest son Josh's sexual abuse of several underage girls when he was a teen, but life must go on, and Jessa took some time recently to get to know Josh's new daughter, Meredith Grace.
Jessa, who is expecting her first child soon, took to Twitter to share a sweet photo of herself holding baby Meredith with the caption, "Loving my little niece". The photo quickly earned thousands of "likes" on the social media site, as even throughout the abuse scandal fans of 19 Kids And Counting have been eager for news about the family.
Meredith is the fourth child for Josh Duggar and his wife Anna, who was pregnant when the police report containing details of Josh's molestation of his sisters was released. Jessa and Jill both admitted to being victims during an interview with Fox anchor Megyn Kelly, but said they have forgiven him and are happy with the way their parents handled the situation. The public, however, is divided. Some fans have continued to stand by the family, while others say they don't understand why charges were not filed against Josh at the time.

Jessa Duggar made headlines earlier this year when she alluded to sex with her new husband in a radio interview; while that wouldn't have been a big deal for most couples, the Duggar family has strict rules in place for pairing off, and Jessa and Ben Seewald were only allowed "side-hugs" while they were dating.
We’re definitely in love, and well on our way in this newlywed life. And we’re just loving it. I think we’re past the side hugs,” Jessa said.
Jessa says she's having sweet cravings while pregnant with her first child and shared a recipe for pretzel cheesecake that has garnered a lot of attention on Instagram.
“This certainly isn’t a healthy dessert, but I love it so much that I have to make it at least once a year or so! So yummy and easy to throw together!” Jessa Duggar Seewald said on Instagram.
