While speaking to Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Nick Grimshaw during a recent interview, Lawrence explained how she barely knows how to keep up with emails, and describes Twitter as “unthinkable” to her.

“I will never get Twitter. I’m not very good on phone or technology,” Lawrence admitted. “I cannot really keep up with emails so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me. I don’t really understand what it is. It’s like this weird enigma that people talk about. It’s fine. I respect that.”

Lawrence said she will never have a Twitter, or an Instagram or Facebook account for that matter, and if you see one that says it is hers, it is a fake. “But no, I’ll never get a Twitter,” Lawrence continued. “If you ever see a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter that says it’s me, it most certainly is not.”

Lawrence is weary of the internet anyway after she fell victim to the nude celebrity photo leak in September.

“Because the internet has scorned me so much, I feel like it’s that girl in high school that I’m like ‘Oh you want to talk about her? Yeah I’ll do that’. Take my hoops off, I’m ready to go,” she said.

“Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this,” Lawrence said of the photo leak. “It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe that we even live in that kind of world. ”
