Jennifer Lawrence is having none of this, and no one can blame her. After the Oscar-winning actress fell victim to a nude photo leak, the American Hustle star vowed to prosecute anyone who leaks the photos.
Lawrence‘s rep confirmed the leak Sunday.
“This is a flagrant violation of privacy,” Lawrence’s spokesperson said in a statement, as reported by Variety. “The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence.”
The photos, which were hacked from the cloud, were posted on the /b/ thread on 4chan and have not been taken down despite Lawrence’s spokesperson’s statement.
Since then, others have posted the photos on social media, but they are being removed from sites like Twitter.
