  • Jennifer Garner knows a lot about being a parent.

In fact, Jennifer Garner has three kids with Ben Affleck and, of course, all of those babies have given her plenty of insight to share.

On Thursday’s episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, Meyers, who is about to become a dad for the first time, dug for some parenting advice.

He asked, “Was there any advice you wish someone had given to you before you had your first?”

In answer, Jennifer Garner admitted, “Everyone gives you so much advice. There are a lot of ‘experts’ out there and as much as you think, ‘I’m going to follow what this person says, I’m going to follow what that person says, I’m going to read this book and I’m going to have this birth plan’—it’s not up to you, dude.”

She added, “It doesn’t matter. Let it go. Don’t worry about it. You’re going to struggle. It’s going to suck just like for everyone else. Just know in your head this is all going to go to hell in a hand basket.”

Jennifer Garner speaks the truth! In many ways, it does suck. But, for some, what sucks even worse is what happens to your body after having a kid or three.

Recently on The Tonight Show, Jennifer Garner revealed that she no longer has a waist and shared the trick that got her into her dress for this year’s Oscars.

She said, “What they do is they move your organs around. It’s a two-part thing. Basically, there are two men who come in with screw guns and they screwed me into a metal corset — this isn’t true — but it was a metal corset.”

She added, “There were two Italian people who were talking very quickly and the next thing you know my ribs were compressed!”

Jennifer Garner then shared a hilarious bathroom anecdote that took place on that very night.

What do you think about Jennifer Garner’s parenting advice? Is it spot on?
