Jenna Fischer was recently quoted as saying something about being "genuinely in love" with John Krasinski, but her former The Office costar believes what she said was likely misconstrued.

Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski played Jim Halpert and Pam Beesley, respectively, on The Office.
While appearing on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Fischer said, "there's like a real part of me that is Pam, and there's a real part of him that's Jim, and those parts of us were genuinely in love with one another."
John Krasinski--married to Emily Blunt--says many republications of her quote have led to some confusion.
"I think that was wildly misquoted or taken out of context,” Krasinski said during a recent interview with The Daily Beast.
“I'm sure she was trying to say something nice about how genuine the acting relationship was, of bringing a relationship that became that popular onscreen--and I think we both feel it's such an honor to be a part of that relationship," he added.

"As far as how she was quoted about saying we were 'genuinely in love,' I think that was taken wildly out of context and I feel bad for her," Krasinski clarified.
Jenna Fischer, happily married to Kirk Lee since 2010, may have misspoke or her comment may have been misconstrued, but by John Krasinski making such an issue out of the comment, it appears he's a bit uncomfortable with the seemingly benign statement.
What do you make over John Krasinski's insistence that Jenna Fischer's comment was "misconstrued?"
