Jeff Goldblum Stalker Arrested, Faces PrisonBy: Amanda Crum - November 5, 2012
A woman who has allegedly been stalking actor Jeff Goldblum for more than ten years was busted violating his restraining order on Saturday night, and now faces prison time.
Linda Ransom was spotted a mere 20 yards away from the “Jurassic Park” actor at the Ahmanson Theater in L.A., where he was hosting a seminar. Security officials nabbed her and booked her for violating the court-ordered 100-yards or more rule, and she is currently being held on $20,000 bail.
Ransom met Goldblum eleven years ago at an acting class, but things didn’t take a strange turn until this summer, when she managed to get backstage at one of his events and make trouble. She was also found lurking about his property and later told police she was there because of an incident with one of his security people. Her story didn’t wash, however, and Goldblum was granted a three-year restraining order against her.
No statement yet from Goldblum, but Ransom could be facing jail time for her little stunt.
