"Relationships are a pain in the ass,” January Jones was quoted as telling her friends, according to one insider.

Apparently, Will Forte wasn’t the last man on earth for Jones as they’ve already ended their five-month relationship last month.

Jones and Forte attended the 2015 Emmys last Sunday, albeit separately. Jones was seen celebrating with her Mad Men cast mates at the after party, and reportedly spent a lot of time with co-star Jon Hamm, who also happens to be currently single.

Meanwhile, Forte was nominated as Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in the Fox comedy, The Last Man on Earth, but lost out to Transparent star, Jeffrey Tambor.

Jones and Forte began their romance last April, after they met on set of The Last Man on Earth. They never released an official statement about the relationship, and also kept mum about the split.

No details were revealed on why they broke up except for a statement from one insider saying that Jones wasn’t looking for commitment and considered a serious relationship as a burden.

Jones was formerly linked to SNL alum Jason Sudeikis, actor Ashton Kutcher, and singer Josh Groban. She also previously dated Adrian Brody and Jeremy Piven.

Jones also dated director Noah Miller until they split in January 2013. To this day, Jones has not disclosed the real identity of her son’s father.

With that list of past relationships, perhaps Jones was on to something when she said that she needed to take a step back.

"I'm looking forward to a break," she told E! News when she promoted Good Kill at the Tribeca Film Festival in late April. "In a couple of weeks, I'm going to take a vacation and relax on the beach somewhere under an umbrella."
