Actress Jada Pinkett-Smith is the matriarch of a very talented family; her husband Will is the rapper-actor formerly known as the Fresh Prince, her daughter Willow is a tween sensation in the music world, and her son Jaden is making a name for himself in the movies since his debut with his dad in “The Pursuit Of Happyness“.

It’s for this reason, she claims, that rumors are abounding about her split–and impending divorce–from Will.

“These rumors are completely untrue,” she told Gala Magazine. “We’re waiting peacefully for the storm to blow over … Will and I know the truth.”

When a tabloid reported that she had moved out of their home, Pinkett-Smith said her family is split apart most of the time lately due to the fact that they are all working; Will with Jaden on the set of an M. Night Shayamalan film, and Mom with Willow, who goes on tour this summer.

Pinkett-Smith is also involved with a school project in Costa Rica, which she tweeted about recently.

Whatever the reason for the separation, Smith wants it known that her family is as solid as ever and says she’s sure the rumors simply come from being a celebrity couple.

“Every year, one celebrity couple is under the microscope. This year, unluckily, it’s us,” she said.
