Rumors have been flying lately that Will and Jada Smith's marriage is on the rocks, and when word got around the web that the couple put their Malibu mansion up for sale just two years after moving in, it seemed like confirmation that the two were headed for divorce. However, a rep for Pinkett-Smith says they're not going anywhere, and that the rumors are just that.
"This is false. Their home is not on the market," publicist Karynne Tencer told New York Daily News.
The home, which boasts 25,000 square feet on seven acres of land, is an open, circular floor plan which Smith said the couple wanted to be indicative of the "infinite cycle that represented what Jada and I hoped for our love". Included in the home are a recording studio, a screening room and spectacular views of a lake.
Pinkett-Smith had to clarify her words on Facebook recently after she said in an interview that the key to a happy marriage was letting Will do what he wanted, something that fans took to mean an open relationship.
"Will and I BOTH can do WHATEVER we want because we TRUST each other to do so. This does NOT mean we have an open relationship…this means we have a GROWN one, (sic)" she wrote.
Despite the rumors, the family seems to be as close as ever, showing up together at the MTV VMAs earlier this month and making headlines during Lady Gaga's performance, when Jaden and Jada were snapped mid-shocked face.
