  • Ireland Baldwin, daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, is out of rehab now and sporting a new ‘do. The 19-year-old model checked herself out of the SOBA Recovery Center in Malibu–the same facility Selena Gomez once attended, following three weeks of treatment for emotional trauma. She still plans to take part in the facility’s out patient programs.

According to a report from People magazine, Ireland Baldwin now has brunette tresses–unlike the blonde ones she sported for so long.

She shared a photo of her new look with her followers via Instagram.

“Blessed Sunday,” she captioned the shot.

Ireland Baldwin shared back in mid-April that she was headed to rehab, but didn’t explain why. A source tells People it wasn’t drug or alcohol related, however.

Ireland shared some tweets when she entered rehab, as well as from the facility.

Ireland’s uncle, Daniel Baldwin, is the one who introduced her to the rehab facility. He spoke with People when she entered rehab.

“I love Ireland very much. I am so proud of her for finding the courage to take these very important steps in her life. SOBA is the best possible place for her to be,” he said.

It certainly sounds like Ireland Baldwin has plenty of support, between her family members and the facility where she sought help. Hopefully with ongoing work via their out patient program, she can make a full recovery from whatever is troubling her.

Kudos to Ireland Baldwin for reaching out to get the help she needs. She sets a fine example for other young people who need to do so as well. There is no shame in asking for help.
