This is part 8 in a ten part series.

This is one of the most common excuses not to make a purchasing decision: and it should be the easiest to deal with if you do it properly:

  • OH!  Good to hear: they aren’t done yet, eh?
  • And other than that, you are going to be my client, huh? (Let them acknowledge, thinking you are going to let them off the hook: now you have them!)The silent close, informing them that they have already bought with 50 achnowledgements
  • Great, because some websites because of the way they are designed will not work at all, and need to be redone: and If I get involved now, I can make sure that your money isn’t wasted, by insuring that placement is taken into account!
  • Also, a static brochure site wil not work anyway, so it is important to plan the integration of the automated features we will be adding during the design period, or some of it may need to be redone! (Now shut up and smile!)

Sometimes I like to raise my hands, and tilt my head for a silent close!
