TLC announced that they were canceling their popular show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo earlier this month and the reason behind the cancelation was pretty shocking.

According the TMZ, Mama June was dating a sex offender and TLC, being a family network, didn’t want anything to do with such a relationship.

Even worse, June’s oldest daughter Anna came forward and said that she was the victim of the sex offender and that she felt betrayed by her mother.

Anna also told Us Weekly that she had begged her mom to end the relationship.

“‘You know, he’s a child molester, Mama,'” she said. “‘He did this to me. Why would you let him come around the girls knowing what he did?'”

“Mama’s not supposed to be around him! She just knows!” she added. “And she let him get around Alana and Pumpkin!”

June has denied a current relationship with the man, Mark McDaniel, but admitted that she had dated him in the past. She claims that the rumors are false and says she would never put her children in danger.

Fox 411 recently reported that there is another child offender in June’s past, her daughter Jessica’s father, Michael Anthony Ford.

Ford was arrested in 2005 and later convicted of sexually exploiting a child over the Internet.

The show’s cancellation has upset many fans as well as June herself.

Anna told ET that she doesn’t feel sorry for her mother and said that she brought everything on herself.

“It’s Mama’s fault. She has to live with it,” Cardwell told ET. “She has brung the past back and now she can’t get it away. It gives me a lot of emotions. I’m mad. I’m upset. I feel betrayed. I feel very hurt. That’s the main thing that I am — I feel very hurt that Mama let him come around.”
