Hayden Panettiere, the star of the hit television show Nashville, recently got engaged to her fiancé Wladimir Klitschko.

During an interview with E!, Hayden revealed how the couple met, and dished on her very meaningful proposal.

She said that they met at a charity event in October 2013. Hayden then went on to describe one of their first humorous encounters saying: “I said ‘you’re huge’ and he said ‘you’re tiny’! And that was that.”

While Hayden did not provide all of the intimate details, she did say that the proposal was very genuine and sweet. “I was not expecting it,” she said. “All I will say is that it was simple, genuine and very sweet.”

Now, Hayden is getting into bride mode, and is working on planning her low-key wedding. Panettiere, who is featured on the April edition of Brides Magazine, recently tried on several wedding dresses and talked to PEOPLE about the experience.

“I have a very specific body type, and you have to dress for your body type. As flattering as wedding dresses tend to be they can also go sour really quick,” Hayden said. “It was nice to see the different cuts on my body. And you just look at the cumulative likes and loves and hopefully that will lead to ‘the dress.’”

Hayden and Wladimir have not set an official date yet, but she explains that she does have a vision of what she would like the wedding to be like. “I have always dreamed of a wedding day! Not over the top or crazy, but yeah, I’ve always thought about it,” she admitted. “It’s one of those things you have to just cross your fingers and hope everything will go smooth. You will plan and plan and at the end of day you just have to kick back and see what happens.”
