Google Launches Personal Zeitgeist

    December 21, 2005

Google’s Personalized Search has added a new feature, Trends, which shows analysis of your personal searching history, a sort of personal Zeitgeist.

You get your top ten search terms, top ten sites, top ten clickthroughs, and graphs of the number of searches per month, day and hour.

So, what’s my number one search? Google, of course. Number two is “GOOG”, for when I need a stock quote, number four is Microsoft, and number five is “fish”, my all-purpose random search for when I need to connect to a wireless network.

Click on any month, and a JavaScript popup will show you your top three searches, results, and hours of searching for that month.
