  2. It’s going to be great.

  3. I still am yet to have a reason to switch to Google Checkout. This change makes next to no difference.

Can anyone tell me why I shouldn’t use Paypal or some other payment processor/gateway? This is one area where Google surprisingly is yet to use its regular common sense.

  4. Adsense Publishers

I wouldn’t trust Google Check Out. It’s tied to the same glitchy payment system that has been holding up payments lately to Adsense Publishers. Like mine that is over $9,000.

Wouldn’t you be really mad if you made a bunch of sales, and the system wouldn’t release payment to you and then when you contacted support, they said it would take a month to get things straightened out so the system could send you payment? Especially if you shipped product, or performed services for that money? I would.

  5. The promotional badges are useful for the customers to identify and take advantage of promotional offers. I think the information presented is very useful to many people a lot.

  6. As long as Google Checkout is easier to work with and doesn’t impede in the transaction process, we’re all for it! We do need them now before X-mas season for our Blackberry parts.

    • PayPal User

If that happens and anybody doesn’t get paid, Google will official have ruined Christmas for them. I accept PayPal only because it’s in place and has been tested for over a BILLION TRANSACTIONS!

Google should just partner up with PayPal and let PayPal handle the payment issues. Google not having any real customer support in place does not make me feel confident with using any more of their products. I don’t care if they’re free if they don’t work!
