    Hi Joe,

    Thanks for the coverage!

I just wanted to make it clear that this FAQ is not Google’s writing, it is my writing, and I’m not associated with Google. It is also not an interview with a Google spokesperson. It is merely my assessment of the situation based on past research, aggregating frequently asked questions, or those questions that one may have.

I wasn’t sure if this was clear to you based on your report…

Also please note that for the scope of the FAQ I’ve decided to differentiate between censoring (e.g. a missing human rights site) and filtering (e.g. SafeSearch, which can mostly be disabled) of results, but as I mentioned, your mileage may vary.

I will ponder how to make this more clear and perhaps change the title of the post from “Google Censorship FAQ” to “Unofficial Google Censorship FAQ”.

    thanks!
    Philipp
