  1. It just seems strange that for a signal that Google wants to downplay they sure seem to be spending time expanding on that metric. I mean I know this plays into user experience and how publishers can improve on that but there are things Google needs to improve on such as their Adsense code which usually is the cause of a lot of slow loading pages beyond the publisher’s control.

    • Agreed..but rather than blaming only such codes that affect the sites to a little extent , some other perspectives of the websites can be looked upon and tons of improvements can be done in those areas like compression of certain images, css and scripts, minimize HTTP requests..
