Gisele Bundchen is no doubt dizzy from the excitement of the New England Patriots–and her sexy quarterback husband Tom Brady–winning the Super Bowl on Sunday. Before the big game, however, she spoke with Vogue U.K. about her other half, and went back to when she first met the handsome hunk. Her interview appears in the March issue of the magazine.

Bundchen says she knew Tom Brady was ‘the one’ when she first met him.

“I knew Tom was the one straightaway,” she told the magazine. “I could see it in his eyes that he was a man with integrity who believes in the same things I do.”

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen were actually set up on a blind date. That was back in 2006. They married in 2009 and are the proud parents of sons John (Gisele is his stepmom), Benjamin, and Vivian.

Bundchen said she always wanted to be a mother. She also talked of how much she values her privacy. That might surprise those who have seen the supermodel in action.

“I’m a model as a job, I’m Gisele, the daughter of Valdir and Vania, I’m a woman, I am a model. When I go home and shut the door, that’s it. If I want to expose something, it should be my choice,” she said. “My earliest memory was going to my grandma’s house, milking the cows and collecting the eggs from the chickens. If I could choose, I’d be bare feet, with animals all around me and living in a tree house. Like Tarzan and Jane, that’s my dream. I’m at my happiest around nature.”

Privacy is something that might be hard to come by with the life Gisele Bundchen has chosen. Not only does she grace magazine covers and fashion runways all over the world, she married a man who will no doubt go down in history as one of the greatest NFL quarterbacks of all time.

But Gisele Bundchen knew Tom Brady was ‘the one’ from the start. So she and Tom work hard to make the life they’ve chosen work for them and their family. There are sacrifices to be made for love. Most people would sacrifice it all to have what this couple has.
