  1.  Thanks for reinforcing what I have been telling clients for years. I appreciate your candor and writing style. Peace and keep the info coming :)

    • Great advice, my blog needs these Inspirational ideas, I greatly appreciate it.Thanks for  sharing this valuable treasure to the world. Keep up the good works!

  2. We run a Users Forum and will be using many of the ideas you have here to increase our traffic.

I can appreciate item #3, but have in the past made attempts to do just that and give the site an extra charge – and had it back fire with users leaving over the controversy. You have to watch political view points as they can divide a user base quickly.

  3. Thanks for the great info. I’ll be trying it for the humor blog I just started a few days ago. How much traffic is considered a good count for a site like this mine?
    Thanks
    Deb

  4. I agree with everything in this post, especially point number 31

"31. Don’t place ads on your blog, yet. If you feel you must (you’re seeing nice PPC revenues), determine that your site’s HTML is optimized to position those ads at the bottom of each blog page."

This is crucial in order to get the right type of links to your website. During the initial building and content phase, it is important to limit any ads.

Once the website generates considerable popularity and traffic, work to slowly add ads in a tasteful manner.

  5. Thanks for the great tips! Prticularly

    3. Bait your blog.  Post unconventional and controversial articles to create lengthy threads that, in turn, create site stickiness.

Pune real estate slow down offered me this oppprtunity and i put it to use quite well. Great thing about it is my readers started this topic first and i listen to them! Thanks to my readers!

  6. Great work. This is a well though out round up that will help me add quality to my new sales training blog.

  7. Jan

     Great article and pointers.

    Question about top relevant blogs.

Why do some blogs end up in the top relevant blogs during a search when they have nothing to do with the search topic?

  8. you can get it ranked in days but for what keyphrases

  9. Page rank determines your search ranking in google. I think that we need it more then anything really.

  10. But there is a lot of  copetition nowadays, I think 30 days is too little time

  11. The jist of the post is good, and the steps needed are great, but the results are unlikely. By defauly, blogs are tougher to rank than static pages, and most websites are still filtered in searches to start, so unless the domain has been live and indexed for a significant time, 30 days is unrealistic unless it is for an easy 4 work phrase.

  12. wow amazing.. tips for seo… very thanks… please give me more how to increase double traffic…

  13. I agree – getting your site linked by others definitely help – especially if they are ranked well by google. I’ve seen it work overnight.
