HBO recently announced that the season 4 premiere of Game of Thrones will air on Sunday, April 6th – which means that we’re all going to have to survive this long, cold winter before winter actually comes. Or something like that. HBO also said that they will unveil the first taste of the new season-the first official trailer-at 8:58 pm ET (right before the series premiere of True Detective).

Well, I guess HBO knows that it’s cruel to not give us anything today – so they’ve released a series of Vine videos that serve as short sneak peeks of the new trailer.

Thank the gods, old or new!

Get excited, people.

I hate to tell people but in the books, Dany was banging Khal Drago when she was 13 and she at first did it for her brother but then because she wanted to. So according to American standards, the Khal would be in prison for child molestation and child rape. Personally, I don’t care one way or the other. I am smart enough to know that in the real world everything isn’t perfect. I know when I was a teenager I purposely went after an older guy and had sex with him. It wasn’t rape or molestation or any of that. It was something I wanted to do. What bugs me is the hypocrisy of the people watching the show. Half the feminists out there like the show and says it empowers women. Half the feminists out there say the exact opposite. Then in general, we say some things are so bad in our society ….. killing, murder, robbing, drug use, rape, underage sex ….. but everything that displays that becomes popular. Everything from GOT to Breaking Bad.

Maybe it is just me, but America is so hypocritical. Everything will like about this show (it is immensely popular) some person is serving decades and lifetimes in prison for.
